A COLDCARD Bitcoin hardware wallet firmware vulnerability (versions 4.0.0–5.0.3) accidentally disabled the hardware random number generator, reducing key entropy from 128 to 40 bits and allowing attackers to drain ~$38–70M in Bitcoin within 25 minutes.
